The Short Story

Jess has been making books with intention since 2014. Growing up submerged in fiction, sketchbooks, and planners, she quickly found zine culture & the powers of self-publishing.
Mountain Bound Books started with a mission to rescue & repurpose trash at the farmers market in Trinity County, CA. Jess would gather donations of cereal boxes from the community to press it into recycled artisan book board. These thick boards created brilliant, local, tree-free, low-waste, recycled notebooks & journals. She's been binding and publishing magic books in her signature style ever since.
Jess believes everyone has a story to tell, a craft to master, and a legacy to leave. It's her calling to be Your Book Witch. Her mission is to equip you with a very powerful ally and teach you how to manifest your desires with your custom spellbound book. Her intention is: help liberate the world, one magical book at a time.
